About the author

He is an Assistant Professor in the English Language Program at J. F. Oberlin University in Tokyo and has taught English in junior high schools, high schools, and universities for more than fifteen years.

Alongside teaching, he writes for English learners. His book The Lost Cup is an easy-English adventure with multiple endings, and an interview about the project describes it as a football-themed story built around the history of the Jules Rimet trophy.
