by Francis Francis
Francis Francis (1853–1928), sometimes identified as Francis Francis the younger, was the son of the novelist and angling writer Francis Francis. He followed his father into print, but focused mainly on adventure fiction and travel narratives rather than fishing literature.
His published works include War, Waves, and Wanderings: A Cruise in the Lancashire Witch (1881), Mosquito: A Tale of the Mexican Frontier (1889), and Eternal Enmity (1892). He is also associated with Saddle and Moccasin (1887), a work inspired by the American West and frontier travel.
