About the author

Born in Queens, New York, on June 14, 1946, he is the son of real estate developer Fred Trump. He attended the New York Military Academy and later graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968.

He joined his father's real estate business and eventually expanded it into the Trump Organization, becoming widely known through high-profile Manhattan projects, licensing deals, and a media persona that reached an even larger audience through The Apprentice. That mix of business and celebrity helped make him one of the most recognizable public figures in the United States.

He served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021 and returned to office as the 47th president on January 20, 2025, becoming only the second U.S. president to serve two nonconsecutive terms. Few modern figures have drawn as much attention, controversy, and lasting public fascination across both politics and popular culture.
