Dennis G. Rainey is a Christian author, speaker, and cofounder of FamilyLife, a ministry of Cru focused on marriage and family discipleship. Along with his wife, Barbara, he helped launch the ministry in 1976 and led it for decades as it grew internationally.

He has written or co-written numerous books on marriage, parenting, and Christian living, and he was also widely known as a longtime co-host of the radio program FamilyLife Today. His work is especially associated with practical, Bible-centered advice for couples and families.

Rainey studied business at the University of Arkansas and later earned a master's degree in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Across his writing and public ministry, he has focused on everyday encouragement, spiritual formation, and the challenges of building a lasting family life.
