Carey & Hart

Carey & Hart was a major American publishing firm based in Philadelphia in the 1800s. The company grew out of earlier publishing connections in the Carey family, and contemporary biographical sources describe the house of Carey and Hart as one of the best-known publishing firms in the United States.
