Born in 1878, C. Tadulinga Mudaliyar, also known as Chinnakavanam Tadulinga Mudaliar or C. Tadulingam, was an Indian botanist and agricultural educator. He is chiefly remembered for A Handbook of Some South Indian Grasses, written with K. Rangachari, a work widely described as an early and influential study of grasses in South India.

Beyond his botanical work, he also had a public career and served as mayor of Madras in 1942–43. He died in 1954, leaving behind a reputation tied both to scientific writing and civic service.
