A writer, political commentator, and former U.S. deputy national security advisor, Ben Rhodes is best known for helping shape foreign policy messaging during Barack Obama’s presidency. Before serving in the White House from 2009 to 2017, he worked on Obama’s 2007–2008 campaign as a speechwriter and foreign policy adviser.
He has written The World as It Is: A Memoir of the Obama White House and After the Fall, both of which have been described as New York Times bestsellers in publisher and institutional biographies.
