Born in Helsinki on March 1, 1867, Albin Järvinen was a Finnish teacher, school inspector, and writer. He studied at the University of Helsinki, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1893 and his master’s degree in 1894, and spent much of his career working in public education.
Järvinen taught in Helsinki and later served as a school inspector in several districts, including Käkisalmi, Turku, Lohja, and Uusimaa. He also wrote widely on educational issues for newspapers and teaching journals, and he was involved in editorial work connected with the Finnish school world.
As an author, he published at least one collection of frontier stories under the pen name Ernesti Turvamäki: Kaukaisesta lännestä: kolme kertomusta (1891). He died in Helsinki on June 11, 1937. No suitable verified portrait image was found from the sources checked, so no profile image is included.
