Description

In a vaulted hall that seems to hold an entire century of triumphs, the Caradoc family has gathered its trophies, portraits, and curious relics into a single, almost reverent space. Sunlight streams through high windows, illuminating statues, faded banners, and a strange, yellowed scroll that bears a royal endorsement. The atmosphere hums with the weight of generations, inviting the listener to sense the fragile line between pride and decay.

The story awakens when a legendary Welsh sword, once belonging to a clan chief who rose to favor with a powerful monarch, is mentioned among the cluttered treasures. A small child, Ann Shropton, wanders into the hall, her curiosity stirring the dormant echoes of old rivalries and secret ambitions. As scholars, soldiers, and servants move through the room, the narrative hints at a brewing conflict that will test the family’s ancient claims to power.
