Back on Earth, a storm‑lashed night turns the ordinary into nightmare when a colossal, mask‑like figure presses its glowering, crimson eyes against his window. The apparition is accompanied by a hulking, scarred man who knows Ray by a name he’d rather forget—Bill Cuff, a legendary outlaw whose murderous past is whispered in police files.
