Description

Henrik lives on the ragged edge of a bustling capital, where jagged stone walls give way to a restless sea that roars beyond the city’s limits. His modest wooden home is crowded with a bustling household: a stout matriarch in a speckled dress, her lively red‑haired daughters, a lumbering brother with heavy boots, and the occasional visitor whose presence is as confusing as the cramped rooms they occupy. The cramped foyer, the uneven doors that constantly clash, and a precariously balanced table covered in lace and a flickering lamp create a sense of perpetual unease.

Within these cramped walls, Henrik feels both drawn to and trapped by his surroundings. The sea’s endless thunder mirrors his growing melancholy, while memories of a lost home surface whenever he eyes the old‑fashioned table that dominates the room. Determined to escape the claustrophobic rhythm of daily life, he plans to leave after the current term ends, hoping the distant horizon might offer a quieter peace.
