On a wind‑swept Kansas prairie, a girl named Dorothy lives with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and her spirited dog Toto. The endless gray fields and daily toil leave little room for wonder, yet Dorothy’s laughter still brightens the modest farmhouse. When a sudden cyclone lifts their house into the sky, she awakes in a dazzling land of talking trees, sparkling fields, and friendly Munchkins who say the great Wizard of Oz might help her return home.
Eager to find a way back, Dorothy walks the Yellow Brick Road and meets a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a tin woodsman who desires a heart, and a lion who lacks courage. Together they face whimsical challenges that test their hopes, each step bringing them nearer to the Emerald City where the mysterious wizard awaits.
