Description

Nestled among the Sabine hills, the stone‑crowned village of Castel Vivalanti clings to a steep ridge like a relic from another age. Its narrow streets are literal stairways, the ancient gate adorned with a phoenix crest, and the surrounding olive groves and vineyards whisper of a once‑prosperous past. Though the town is poor and its medieval walls weathered, the lingering presence of the Vivalanti princes still haunts the landscape, their stories woven into every crumbling arch and overgrown avenue.

Into this setting arrives a young woman whose name is spoken in hushed tones—she is linked to the wheat that once filled the town’s storehouses while its people starved. As rumors of a “princess of the grain” spread, she becomes both hope and suspicion for the locals, caught between the lingering legacy of a “bad prince” and the harsh realities of daily life. Her quiet determination sets the stage for a tale of hidden promises, forgotten loyalties, and the stubborn resilience of a community that refuses to be erased.
