The Three Thieves of Japetus
The Three Thieves Of Japetus
Near Saturn, three desperate space criminals stage a fake shipwreck to lure a passing freighter into rescue range. Jake, the calculating leader, and his partners Matt and Henry seize the vessel, murder its eight-person crew, and take control of the ship. Their destination is Japetus, a remote moon where Jake has already left a radio beacon waiting to guide them in.
At first, the freighter’s cargo seems laughably ordinary: thousands of carboys filled with oxygen. But Jake reveals that Titan’s enclosed city is suffering from a catastrophic air leak, and its leaders are hiding the crisis to prevent panic. With breathable air suddenly more valuable than gold, the trio may have found the perfect haul—but they are not the only ones with something to lose. This tense science-fiction crime tale combines cold-blooded ambition, planetary isolation, and the frightening fragility of human life beyond Earth.
