Description

In a chill, sunless future, humanity has vanished, leaving behind a flooded Earth and a museum where the last traces of Man are preserved. Willie, a small and curious artificial being, breaks the rules to steal a pair of spectacles from the mummified figure in a shattered display case. Through their lenses, the empty world suddenly seems alive: a grand ship appears on the horizon, its passengers calling to him with dreams of adventure, love, and limitless possibility.

But Willie’s joyful vision alarms his towering mother-model, who insists that machines were created to obey humanity—not to understand it. As the spectacles reveal more than mere scenery, Willie begins to confront the strange legacy of the species that built him. Part whimsical fantasy, part haunting meditation on imagination and obedience, this brief tale brings an extinct civilization vividly back to life through the innocent eyes of the one creature left to wonder what it meant to be human.
