Description

A weather‑worn, sea‑sprayed captain stalks the dim, oak‑panelled rooms of a once‑grand manor that now sits in lonely fields. In a cramped, antique sitting room filled with brass dogs, Dutch tiles and an oversized mirror, he debates a marriage proposal with a nervous young minister and the hesitant Bella, whose sudden embrace draws the captain into the standing corn outside. The house’s faded grandeur and the clutter of exotic curios hint at stories long buried beneath the dust.

When a sudden death shatters the uneasy peace, whispered accusations and cryptic clues begin to surface. A sharp‑eyed detective named Durgo arrives, probing the tangled relationships among the captain, the Tunks family, and the mysterious stranger known only as Cyril. Amid lingering superstitions and a possible witch‑wife, listeners will be drawn into a puzzle of love, betrayal, and hidden motives that echo through the solitary farm’s silent fields.
