Description

A three‑person Earth expedition touches down on an eerily quiet world, its lone white cube of a house standing like a sentinel against the barren dunes. The crew—Hinckley, Parker and Compton—expect to find signs of life, but the only movement they witness is a solitary woman in a grey robe, methodically filling a silver vase with sand, seemingly oblivious to their presence. Their attempts at contact are met with silence, prompting a mix of curiosity, frustration, and uneasy speculation about the planet’s inhabitants.

Hinckley, the mission leader, insists on probing the house despite his teammates’ doubts, while Parker’s restless curiosity borders on obsession with the enigmatic ritual. Compton, armed and wary, wonders if the silence masks a mirage or a deliberate, non‑violent way of life that the explorers have yet to comprehend. As they step inside, a strange blue flame flickers, and the sand‑filled vase hints at a cultural practice that may challenge their assumptions about conflict and communication.
