Description

In a rugged Welsh inlet, the harbour of Porthmynwr clings between crimson cliffs, its waters whispering over ancient jetty stones. Autumn has emptied the valley of summer song, and a cold rain turns the clear creek into a swift, muddied ribbon that rushes past thatched cottages and a lone, ramshackle house perched on a red‑sandstone promontory. Inside the weather‑worn home, the scent of damp moss mixes with the faint perfume of fallen leaves, framing a quiet world on the edge of a gathering storm.

When a weathered locket set with pearls is discovered in the cottage’s hearth, its hidden compartment hints at long‑forgotten letters and a family secret that ties the present to the mysterious past of the harbour. As the sea churns and the wind howls, a young visitor is drawn into a series of uneasy clues—a missing lifeboat, a shadow on the threshold, and a cryptic parable from nature—that promise both wonder and danger. The first act sets a tone of quiet intrigue, inviting listeners to follow the tide of mystery.
