Description

A mist‑shrouded Highland pass becomes the stage for a tense, foot‑soldier trek, as a band of Macdonald clansmen haul stolen silver, gilt cups and fine garments through the bleak, heather‑strewn hills of Invernesshire. Their leader, distinguished by a laced coat and high boots, guides the weary group through a landscape where visibility is limited to vague silhouettes and the occasional cry of a lone eagle. The cold, raw October air and the ever‑closing fog turn every footstep into a careful gamble, heightening the sense that they are both hunters and hunted.

Suddenly, the rhythm of hooves and the flash of a scarlet‑clad rider on a dark horse pierce the gloom, igniting a desperate pursuit. The mysterious horseman seems to glide through the mist, his motives hidden, while the Macdonalds grapple with fear, curiosity, and the promise of a confrontation that could change their fortunes. Listeners are drawn into a world of rugged beauty, secret cargo, and an enigmatic presence that haunts the highlands’ misty corridors.
