In the northern reaches of Oz, a boy named Tip lives under the watchful eye of the odd sorceress Mombi. He spends his days hauling wood, tending fields, and sneaking off to climb trees or fish in brooks, growing strong and restless. Though Mombi’s strange magic keeps the villagers wary, Tip resents his guardian and dreams of a life beyond her cramped farm.
One crisp day he carves a pumpkin into a smiling face, and with a dash of Mombi’s mysterious powder, the pumpkin comes alive as Jack, a friendly wooden companion. Together they set off, soon crossing paths with the wandering Scarecrow and the tin‑clad Woodman, each seeking purpose in a land where armies may rise and old witches still whisper. Their journey toward the Emerald City promises friendship, clever inventions, and a chance to reshape the odd rules that bind Oz.
