The lost race

A lone warrior named Cororuc trudges through a shadowed forest on the fringe of the unforgiving Cornish hills, longing for the familiar green of his homeland. He carries the weight of a secret mission among the wild tribes, his spear and bronze arms a reminder of a world caught between Celtic bravery and Nordic resolve. The oppressive canopy blocks the sun, and every rustle hints at bandits or worse, while the distant hills promise the dreaded chief Buruc the Cruel.

Suddenly a wounded wolf battles a massive panther, their brutal clash frozen in a clearing. Impulsively, Cororuc throws himself between the beasts, his sword flashing before the panther vanishes as quickly as it appeared. The wounded wolf retreats, walking upright, leaving a trail that stirs an uncanny curiosity in the warrior. Drawn by the animal’s strange gait, he follows, unaware that this eerie pursuit will pull him deeper into a realm of forgotten legends and hidden perils.
