Jimmy Tremaine is back in his quiet hometown, but the peace is only a façade. He’s been summoned by a shadowy government agency to track a rogue transmitter that’s scrambling a top‑secret hyperwave experiment. With a makeshift jammer humming in his hand, he meets up with his old police friend Jess, who still knows the town’s shortcuts and the gossip that circulates around its eccentric residents. Their conversation drifts from official pressure to the odd legends that still linger in the streets.
The heart of the mystery points to a hermit known only as Mr. Bram, a figure as old as the town’s myths and rumored to tinker with impossible inventions. As Tremaine maps strange concentric patterns on a scrap of paper, the interference seems to echo through the very fabric of the community. The blend of small‑town charm and high‑tech intrigue sets the stage for a race against time, where every clue could be a spark—or a trap.
