Earl of Thomas Barnes Cochrane Dundonald

1814–1885

A Scottish nobleman and army officer, he inherited the earldom of Dundonald in 1860 and later served as a Scottish representative peer. He was also the son of the celebrated naval reformer Thomas Cochrane, linking him to one of Britain’s most colorful aristocratic families.
