Description

Now in his early sixties, the famed castaway finds himself torn between a comfortable, well‑earned peace and a restless urge that has never truly faded. After years of solitude, modest prosperity and a quiet domestic life, he cannot shake the vivid recollection of the island he once ruled. The memory of his plantation and the people he left behind haunts his thoughts, intruding even into his sleep. This lingering fascination compels him to consider a return, despite his age and the comforts he has earned.

His mind, however, is a tempest of imagination, conjuring ghosts of former companions and the treachery of long‑gone pirates. These vivid dreams blur the line between reality and fancy, making him question whether specters truly linger on the island. As the visions intensify, they hint at unresolved dangers and unfinished business among the colonists he once led. Listeners are invited to join his renewed quest, where old loyalties and fresh perils will test whether the island can finally offer the peace he seeks.
