Description

In the quiet Midwestern town of Corinth, life rolls on to the relentless rhythm of passing trains. The town’s history is marked by a brief boom when the railroad first brushed its borders, and by the lingering stories of a forgotten war. Today, its streets are lined with modest homes, and the townsfolk talk of factories that never came and electric lines that remain dreams. Yet beneath the ordinary veneer, an unseen presence lingers, both feared and courted by the locals.

Enter Dan Matthews, a humble fisherman whose days are spent on the river and whose nights are haunted by a strange, alluring call. When two strangers arrive in Corinth, bringing with them a doctor and an unsettling invitation, Dan finds himself drawn into a web of old loyalties and new possibilities. The narrative follows his struggle to reconcile the pull of his simple life with the mysterious power that seems to grip the town. Listeners will be swept along as Dan confronts the invisible ally that promises both danger and salvation.
