Description

Rob, Merritt and Tubby step off a rattling train into the scorching outpost of Mesaville, a dust‑kissed town perched on the edge of the Santa Catapina Range. Their crisp Eastern clothes and bright sombreros draw curious glances from the locals, hinting at a clash of worlds that soon turns lively. Already the boys sense that the desert holds more than heat—rumors of Moqui ruins and restless cattle whisper through the dry air, and a chance encounter with a cow‑puncher sets their first trail ablaze.

The trio’s scout training quickly proves its worth as they navigate a landscape of rattlesnake‑strewn canyons, starving horses, and the occasional mysterious water hole. Their camaraderie, quick wit, and willingness to help strangers pull them into a series of daring rescues and unexpected perils that test both courage and loyalty. Listeners will find a vivid portrait of early 20th‑century frontier life, where friendship and bravery light up the endless desert sunrise.
