Description

Born on the frontier of Pennsylvania, Daniel Boone grows up with a restless love for the woods and the thrill of the hunt. After a daring encounter with a panther and years of wandering the forest, he marries Rebecca Bryan and settles near the Yadkin River, only to feel crowded by the influx of settlers. Encouraged by friends who return from Kentucky with glowing tales, Boone gathers a small band and sets out west, eager to claim a new home beyond the mountains.

The journey brings rugged challenges—dense forests, hungry predators, and tense encounters with Native American groups. Boone’s skill with his rifle and his quick wit help him survive a deadly ambush, a narrow escape from captivity, and the loss of a close companion. As he forges a settlement on the Kentucky riverside, his reputation as a fearless explorer spreads, drawing more families and sparking the birth of the frontier town that will bear his name.
