Description

A disoriented man stumbles out of a crowded subway station with no wallet, no clear memory, and only two cents to his name. His clothes are filthy, his pulse is alarmingly slow, and nothing around him seems familiar—not the station, the streets, or even the doctor he desperately needs to find. All he can remember is that he needs money, and that one dime may be crucial.

As strangers dismiss him as a vagrant, threaten him, or laugh at his desperate requests, he searches for any clue to his identity and his past. A neon-lit bar named the Inn of Six Horses offers a possible starting point, but the weary patrons inside provide little comfort and plenty of odd conversation.

Blending mystery, science fiction, and dry humor, this intriguing story follows an ordinary-looking man confronting an extraordinary crisis. Why has his memory vanished, what happened to his wallet, and why does a single dime matter so much?
