A sudden storm tosses a ship across the ocean, and a brave little girl from Kansas finds herself far from home and on an unexpected journey. When the clouds clear, Dorothy discovers that the sea has carried her not to Australia, but back to the magical Land of Oz, where her old companions are waiting. Together with the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and a chatty yellow hen, she is welcomed by Princess Ozma, the young ruler who has been longing for a new adventure.

Ozma invites Dorothy and her friends to explore a series of curious realms, from glittering emerald cities to distant islands ruled by eccentric monarchs. Along the way they encounter Tiktok, a clever clockwork man, and the Hungry Tiger, a gentle giant with an insatiable appetite for stories. The group must solve riddles, outwit mischievous foes, and rely on each other's courage, all while the wind of imagination carries them toward a mystery that promises to test the heart of Oz itself.
