Monster no more

After centuries adrift, the first starship to cross between solar systems is failing. Its damaged hull leaks oxygen, its engines are crumbling, and cosmic radiation has transformed the crew’s descendants into a variety of mutant peoples. Food is scarce, sickness spreads, and when the ship finally crashes on the desert planet Ghakk, survival becomes a struggle for generations to come.

Centuries later, the ship is little more than a half-buried relic, while its forgotten descendants have formed isolated societies shaped by fear and legend. A long-legged fugitive, born among the legless Cru, flees across Ghakk’s barren canyons and ruined landscapes after violating his people’s law against allowing “monsters” to live. Armed with a stone dagger and bow, he must evade pursuit while hunting for food in a hostile wilderness. When movement in a nearby thicket reveals an unexpected presence, his flight takes a dangerous new turn. This classic science-fiction adventure explores mutation, prejudice, and the fragile remnants of humanity on a distant world.
