Description

A ferocious night on the Channel sets the tone, with waves crashing and fog swallowing the dim harbour lights. Amid the howling wind an English traveller stalks the drenched sands, haunted by a voice that trembles between grief and guilt. His restless mind spins a desperate monologue, questioning the limits of medicine, fate, and his own cowardice.

The narrative then sweeps back to a quiet Cheshire estate, where the same restless spirit once drifted among country shoots, elegant waltzes, and an uncanny attraction to a mysterious, raven‑haired woman. As memory and present collide, the story hints at hidden debts, fractured relationships, and a yearning for redemption. Listeners are invited to follow his volatile journey through love, loss, and the restless search for peace, all framed by vivid nineteenth‑century scenery and an undercurrent of suspense.
