It Walks by Night
Driven by grief and fever, Johann slips from his sickbed and ventures into the ancient graveyard beyond his village. His young wife, Elsa, has been buried there while he lay delirious—and the cemetery is feared as the lair of something that has haunted the region for generations. Locals whisper of opened graves, vanished bodies, and a creature that returns whenever night falls.
When Johann’s cousin Karl finds him among the tombs, he begs him to come home before the darkness deepens. But Johann refuses to leave Elsa to the graveyard’s unseen predator, even though he has no shovel, little strength, and only a pistol and lantern for protection. As the wind moves through the neglected stones and old legends seem to stir into life, his vigil becomes a terrifying test of love, courage, and sanity. This atmospheric tale offers classic supernatural horror in a shadowy world of plague memories, family secrets, and a thing that walks by night.
