Description

A snow‑bound carriage trudges through a winter‑cloaked mountain pass, carrying two very different companions. The younger, bright‑eyed Edmund is impatient, flamboyant and eager to taste the pleasures his wealth promises, while his older mentor Oswald sits in a quiet, stoic corner, his dark features and restrained manner hinting at burdens the youth cannot yet comprehend. Their banter—Edmund’s longing for sun‑lit Italy and Oswald’s matter‑of‑fact duty—reveals a fragile partnership forged by duty rather than friendship.

As the storm thickens, the cramped interior becomes a stage for their clashing temperaments, each testing the other's resolve. Edmund’s restless spirit and Oswald’s guarded caution set the tone for a journey that will demand more than endurance of the elements. Listeners are invited into a world where youthful exuberance meets hardened experience, and where the first miles hint at deeper trials awaiting the heirs of Ettersberg.
