In the flourishing Tang court, a principled official from the Lu family watches his two talented sons—one known for his striking beauty and the other for his fierce bravery—grow under his careful guidance. Their lives are soon upended when the scheming Chancellor Shen, hungry for power, maneuvers to send the elder Lu to the volatile frontier to suppress a rebellious tribe, hoping to eliminate a rival.
