Description

Cameron drifts through the scorched reaches between Sonora and Arizona, a weather‑worn gold‑seeker haunted by a love lost in a distant town. The relentless heat and the endless horizon have made the desert both his refuge and his prison, and the crackle of his campfire is the only sound that breaks the silence of his thoughts. Yet even in this isolation, memories of a tragic encounter linger, coloring his every step with a mixture of regret and determination.

One night a lone rider emerges from the shadows, his pack mule laden and his eyes hidden beneath a weathered hat. Their brief, guarded conversation reveals a shared familiarity with the unforgiving landscape, and a flicker of uneasy respect passes between the two wanderers. As the fire burns low, Cameron senses that this stranger carries motivations as mysterious as the hidden veins of gold they both chase, hinting at alliances and rivalries that could reshape their solitary quests.
