Description

A grand, slightly suffocating bank’s boardroom becomes the stage for a lively one‑act comedy, where polished marble and an imposing desk clash with the nervous energy of its occupants. The central figure, the bank’s president Norrison, oscillates between bombastic commands and frantic self‑soothing, clutching a towel as if it were a lifeline. Around him, a chorus of secretaries, clerks and a dutiful servant flit in and out, each delivering rapid‑fire lines that underscore the absurdity of corporate ritual.

When Norrison declares a week‑long “brain‑off” vacation and insists on being called “Graef,” the normally orderly office erupts into chaotic banter and ridiculous requests—from meticulously dated mail to absurdly specific schedule changes. As the clock ticks toward his departure, his entourage scrambles to accommodate his quirks, setting the scene for a cascade of misunderstandings that highlight both the humor and the human frailty hidden behind the bank’s polished façade.
