The scene opens in the bustling harbor of Poseidonia, where a raucous tavern overflows with salty sailors, lantern light, and the scent of spiced wine. Lean sword‑fighter Elak and his cautious companion Lycon sip and argue, each nursing a purse heavy with gold but a different appetite for danger. Tensions snap when a hulking sea captain named Drezzar makes a crude advance on a tavern wench, igniting a swift duel that leaves Elak bruised and his rapier knocked from his grasp.
Just as the fight threatens to turn lethal, a sudden white flame streaks through the room, seizing Drezzar’s blade and melting it into a twisted husk. The fire fades to reveal a cloaked druid, whose silent presence unsettles both men and suggests a power far older than the petty quarrels of the dockside. With the mysterious figure’s motives unknown, Elak and Lycon are thrust into a deeper mystery that hints at forgotten forces lurking beneath the surface of the lost city of Atlantis.
