Day of the Comet

When a newly announced comet is placed on a collision course with Earth, the world is given only until Sunday afternoon to face its final hours. Frank and Dee Allison hear the news in the middle of a bitter argument, but the sudden certainty of death transforms resentment into regret—and sends them searching for forgiveness, faith, and one another.

Far beyond their troubled marriage, presidents and premiers set aside decades of political conflict, discovering that old rivalries seem absurd beside the extinction of humanity. As weather disturbances gather and ordinary people crowd into churches, strangers, leaders, and loved ones are forced to decide what truly matters when there is no tomorrow to prepare for. This thoughtful science-fiction story combines an apocalyptic premise with intimate emotion, examining how people respond when time is stripped down to its final precious hours.
