Description

Cully wakes in darkness beneath eighty feet of black ocean, buried on a silent seabed and certain that he should be dead. Sealed inside a yellow diving suit with air tanks, a radio, a gun, and a mysterious box, he discovers that his body can move even when his mind cannot remember who he is or how he got there. Blood leaks from a torn boot, strange words churn in his thoughts, and a persistent question drives him onward: where is it?

Drawn through the empty water by forces he barely understands, Cully struggles to reconstruct a world from fragments—sand, pain, equipment, fear, and the distant murmur of many minds. His trained instincts seem to belong to someone else, while an urgent inner longing points toward something hidden beyond the motionless sea. Atmospheric and unsettling, this science-fiction mystery follows a man fighting to hold on to reason as he searches for the purpose buried inside his fractured consciousness.
