Description

Bunker Bean spends his days hunched over a desk in a towering New York office, convinced that his short stature and plain appearance condemn him to anonymity. He daydreams of being a six‑foot, dark‑haired gentleman whose very presence turns heads, imagining a name like “Gordon Dane” that would command respect and intrigue. The ordinary clerk’s longing for style and confidence fuels a quiet rebellion against the modest life he leads.

One impulsive afternoon he splurges on a brilliant red silk cravat—a flash of daring color he hides in a drawer, fearing both the thrill of attention and the sting of ridicule. When a rainy Sunday offers a brief chance to wear it beneath a coat, the secret garment seems to reshape his posture and imagination. As Bean teeters between his timid habits and a newfound boldness, his small act of sartorial rebellion hints at a larger transformation waiting just beyond the office walls.
