Description

A young physics student still reeling from a personal tragedy finds himself drawn into an unconventional invitation from a charismatic professor. The professor, fascinated by the unseen portions of the electromagnetic spectrum, offers the student a chance to experience light far beyond the narrow band humans normally perceive. Intrigued and desperate for distraction, the student signs a waiver that seems almost casual, unaware of how much his own senses could be altered.

The experiment begins with a series of dark‑room adaptations and mysterious eye drops designed to reshape the retina’s response. As the treatment progresses, the world around him starts to dim, the familiar visual field receding into an eerie twilight. He begins to sense wavelengths that were once invisible, confronting a reality that blurs the line between sight and imagination. The story follows his uneasy journey as he grapples with newfound perception and the looming cost of seeing what was never meant to be seen.
