Description

In a spotless Red Cross hospital where white tiles gleam and the hum of machinery never fades, a young nurse named Belinda navigates the relentless rhythm of emergency care. She shares sharp banter and weary camaraderie with colleague Sue, while the stern yet captivating surgeon Dr. Herschall watches everything with his piercing black eyes. Their uneasy chemistry crackles beneath the surface, especially when the surgeon calls her by name—a courtesy that both warms and irritates her.

The calm is shattered when an ambulance rolls in with a famed flyer, the celebrated “flying man” Sandy Sanderson, his mind a jumble of delirious mutters. Belinda feels an inexplicable pull toward the injured pilot, sensing that his case is anything but routine. As she prepares to operate, the mystery of his crash and the tangled emotions among the staff promise a compelling mix of duty, intrigue, and the fragile hope that healing can mend more than just broken bones.
