Description

In the mist‑shrouded hills of ancient Ireland, the teenage siblings Baithene and Ethne stand at the threshold of a new world. Baptized by the famed missionary Patrick on the sacred hill of Tara, they carry the weight of their O’Neill lineage while slipping into the white robes of faith. Their modest stone home, guarded by loyal clanmen, becomes a quiet sanctuary where the echoes of old druidic chants mingle with the gentle prayers of the new creed.

Beyond the emerald coast, the rumblings of a distant empire begin to reach Irish shores. Tales of a fearsome conqueror known as Attila stir both dread and fascination, hinting at a clash between the steadfast traditions of the Celtic clans and the sweeping tide of Christianity. As Baithene and Ethne grapple with loyalty to their people and the promise of a compassionate faith, the story unfolds a vivid portrait of a world on the brink of profound change.
