Description

Set against the sun‑kissed cliffs of southern Italy, the story follows a young woman who seeks refuge in a remote convent after a storm forces her traveling party to linger in the countryside. Within the stone walls she discovers a world of quiet devotion, hidden histories, and a lingering echo of the cloister’s ancient patrons. As she learns the rules of monastic life, gentle rivalries among the monks and the arrival of a mysterious cavalier stir questions about faith, duty, and longing.

The narrative weaves together vivid scenes of daily ritual, the whispered legends of distant saints, and the subtle tensions between personal desire and spiritual calling. Through tender dialogue and richly described landscapes, listeners are drawn into the inner struggle of a soul caught between earthly love and a higher purpose, all while the rhythm of the Mediterranean sea watches over her journey.
