Transcriber's Note:
In a future where the majority of humanity has been engineered into flawless bodies, a small group of so‑called “outcasts” lives on the margins, denied the chance to belong. Dr. Cameron, a weary administrator, and the fiery activist Docchi argue over a request to leave their perfect society, only to receive a curt denial from the Medicouncil. Their frustration fuels a simmering discontent that threatens to upend the carefully‑balanced order.
Seeking refuge, they turn their eyes to Handicap Haven, a thirty‑mile‑wide asteroid turned into a permanent convalescent colony for those the main world deems imperfect. Though advertised as a sanctuary, the haven is a stark reminder of society’s unwillingness to truly embrace its “handicapped” members. As the council’s refusal lingers, the outcasts begin to plot an escape that could change the fate of both worlds.
