A vivid, two‑part stage recital plunges listeners into a nightmarish yet absurd underworld, where a massive red mill—dubbed the Corruptor Magnus—stands at the center of a devilish workshop. The bearded engineer known only as the Magister rouses his motley brass band of infernal technicians, each named after classic demons, to prepare for a long‑awaited demonstration that could rewrite the very mechanics of perdition. The opening act crackles with surreal banter, nonsensical inventions, and a striking visual tableau of black curtains, blood‑red carpet and a stairway that seems to descend into the orchestra pit itself.
Human figures—married couples, a poet, a postman—intermix with the demonic crew, creating a comic clash of mundane concerns and infernal ambition. As the Magister and his grotesque assistant Malacoda negotiate the final checks, the atmosphere shimmers with a blend of dark humor, meticulous wordplay, and an almost operatic sense of impending spectacle. Listeners will be drawn into the cacophony of clanking tools, absurd dialogue, and the eerie perfume of the Magister’s synthetic scent, all setting the stage for a bizarre showcase that promises both laughter and unease.
