Five Children and It

When five restless siblings finally escape the cramped streets of London, they arrive at a white house perched on a hill, surrounded by gardens, orchards, and a wild wood. The countryside opens up a world of endless grass, fragrant jasmine, and forgotten swings, offering a freedom they have never known. Their mother watches with weary practicality, but the children are already dreaming of adventures beyond the ordinary rooms.

While exploring the nearby sandpit, they discover a tiny, iridescent creature made of sand—an ancient fairy known simply as “It.” It promises to grant any wish it hears, and the children, eager to test the limits of their imagination, begin to ask for wonders that quickly spin out of control. Their playful wishes set off a chain of unexpected events that force them to confront the consequences of unchecked desire, learning that even magic has its price.
