Description

Three surveyors find themselves deep in an alien jungle, where colossal trunks rise like pillars and a perpetual rain hammers the canopy but never reaches the forest floor. Their trek is interrupted by a series of massive, evenly spaced impressions in the soil—footprints far larger than any known beast, suggesting a creature of staggering size has just passed. The men set up a temporary camp beneath a massive banyan, wary of the unseen predator that might be stalking them from the shadows.

As night deepens, the silence is broken only by the low hum resonating through the rubbery bark and the occasional tremor that hints at the creature’s weight. Tinnerman, ever the scientist, pulls out a slide rule to estimate the mass of the animal based on the prints, while his companions debate whether to stay hidden or make a quick escape. The tension between curiosity and survival drives the trio’s uneasy watch, leaving listeners poised on the brink of discovery.
