In a small, snow‑covered town, three inseparable friends—Lily, Ellie, and little May—share school days, games, and the dream of earning the prized silver medal for perfect conduct. When May finally qualifies for the award, a sudden winter storm blocks the road to school, leaving her stuck at home while her friends race ahead, determined to keep the promise they made to each other.
Undeterred, Ellie and Lily brave the icy crossing, then turn back to rally May, urging her grandmother to let her join them despite the danger. Their small act of bravery and teamwork turns a simple school reward into a heartfelt lesson about looking out for one another. Listeners will be reminded how ordinary children can turn everyday challenges into moments of genuine kindness.

Some of literature’s most enduring voices come to us without a confirmed name. “Anonymous” stands for storytellers whose identities were never recorded, were deliberately concealed, or were lost over time.
