The kingdom is awash with celebration as Little Lady Daffany prepares to marry the Prince. Streets are filled with cheering children, penny buns, and a five‑hour banquet where the royal couple sit at one end and the king and queen at the other, surrounded by invited Fairies. The air hums with anticipation, but even the well‑fed king seems uneasy about the extravagance.
Just as the feast reaches its peak, the lights dim and a single ray of sun illuminates a dish of peaches, from which a tiny, mist‑clad figure springs—a Wymp, dressed in yellow fog and grinning with mischievous delight. The creature berates the court for overlooking its kind, exposing the royal oversight of the Wymps while the king, queen, and scholars scramble for explanations. Their polite attempts quickly turn to bewildered humor as the Wymp insists on being recognized, setting the stage for an unexpected lesson in inclusion.
